Catalpa Resources Ltd (CAH), formerly Westonia Mines Limited (WEZ) is an exploration company primarily searching for gold with tenements mainly in Australia. Key projects are in the Westonia Greenstone Belt, near Southern Cross in Western Australia. Exploration companies aim to discover and delineate occurrences of metals and minerals that can be economically mined and extracted.

The company listed on the 20 August, 2002. In September 2008, WEZ changed its name to Catalpa Resources Ltd (CAH).

CAH operates in the Materials sector, specialising in exploring for gold and nickel sulphides. The company concentrates its operations within Australia. The process from initial exploration surveys to the definition of an orebody through drilling takes a number of years. Production methods vary depending on commodity, grades, scale of operations and open cut or underground mining.

The Westonia Project's current open pit reserve is 15.6 Mt @ 1.37g/t for a contained 687,000 ounces.
Inferred resources and low grade dumps should add another 100,000 ounces. Resources base to 300 m is now 1.4 million ounces and planned production of around 100,000 ounces/year over 7 years from the initial open pit

CAH does not have any customers yet as it is still exploring for gold. However, there are many competitors within the Western Australia region all exploring for gold. Examples of threats include MDS (Midas Resources) and MEE (Metex Resources Limited).
