Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (LNG) aims to develop and operate liquefied natural gas plants, using stranded gas as feedstock. LNG aims to offer previously discovered but non-commercial gas reserves to new markets as identified by LNG.

LNG Ltd listed on the ASX in September 2004.

LNG Ltd operates in the Energy Sector, primarily concentrating on LNG exploration and production. Oil and gas explorers own rights to explore for commodities in certain areas, and discovery goes through several stages from initial finding to test and appraisal wells and finally to production. Often joint ventures are formed to offset the risk and costs involved.

LNG Ltd's business strategy aims to remain at the forefront of LNG processing technology. The company has an international Patent Application pending over the use of waste heat from the LNG production process. This 'ammonia absorption' technology has never been used in LNG production and will enable the company to substantially improve its efficiency and decrease green house gas emissions.

LNG's major target markets are located in South-East Asia, including Korea, Thailand, China, India and Japan. It competes against other LNG explorers.
